Auburn head coach Gus Malzahn invited AL.com reporter Lauren Sisler to his home to show how he typically spends his offseason.

After signing a new seven-year contract to stay at Auburn, Malzahn definitely seems a lot more loose.

“That’s what I hear from a lot of people,” said Malzahn in the video below. “I love Auburn, and I really believe we’re fixing to do something special.”

Malzahn’s 2010 “championship wall” stands out when you enter his “man cave.” It has several pictures of the championship game and him celebrating with his players.

“I told (my wife) Kristi we are going to get another wall ready.”

The “man cave” doubles as a full arcade, featuring a classic Galaga arcade machine, pop-a-shot, video games and a ping pong table, where he didn’t hold back on Sisler.

“You and Stidham would be a good game,” said Malzahn after he went up 9-to-1. “You’re definitely JV, I can tell you that right now.”

Malzahn also spilled the beans on his Taco Bell obsession and also took the reporter to Auburn’s athletic complex, a place he still finds extremely special.

“I love being here, it never gets old,” said Malzahn. “This is a special place, I’ve got a special job. I’m real honored to be the coach of the Auburn Tigers. I’ve got to pinch myself everyday, I’m living the dream and feel very blessed to have the opportunity that I have.”
