On Sunday, deadly tornadoes tore through the Lee County area of Alabama, killing 23 people and causing lots of property damage.

Now, the area is trying to rebuild in the wake of the tragedy, and on Monday, they got an assist from the Auburn football team.

Per a report from 247Sports, players and coach Gus Malzahn delivered some supplies to the Providence Baptist Church in Beauregard and the Greater Peace Baptist Church in Opelika. As you can see below, Malzahn spoke about helping the victims:

“Our guys wanted to help any way they could,” Malzahn said. “It’s a tragedy, and our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families.”

Auburn and Alabama are scheduled to meet on the basketball court on Tuesday night, and the two teams are reportedly working on setting up a way to help the victims of the tornadoes there, as well.
