The Auburn Tigers could lose quite a bit of production from last year’s squad that shared the SEC regular-season title.

With guys like Bryce Brown, Mustapha Heron, Austin Wiley and Jared Harper considering the NBA Draft, coach Bruce Pearl could have a rebuilding job on his hands.

However, on Monday morning, Pearl spoke with reporters and said he believes there’s a chance all four of those players could return to Auburn this season:

“Everybody’s asking in the spring time, ‘How’s recruiting going?'” he says in the video. “But it’s almost more about retention than it is recruiting.

“It’s really hard to get into the first round where there’s guaranteed money, because there’s only 30 spots. … They’re all going to consider coming back. There’s a chance they could all come back, but that’s been the case from the very beginning.”

It sounds like Heron has the best chance of being drafted, so perhaps he’ll stick in the draft. However, if Pearl can even get two or three of those four players back, the Tigers will be a strong team again this fall.
