WATCH: The Hit, Part 2? Auburn LB Tre' Williams absolutely levels star RB at Senior Bowl practice
During the Jan. 2013 Outback Bowl, then-South Carolina DE Jadeveon Clowney delivered one of the hardest hits in college football history on Michigan RB Vincent Smith — a hit that is now referred to simply as “The Hit.”
On Tuesday at Senior Bowl practice, former Auburn LB Tre’ Williams delivered another bone-crunching hit to a running back.
As you can see in the video below, shared by @ColeCubelic on Twitter, Williams stops star San Diego State RB Rashad Penny dead in his tracks:

Williams even fought through a block on the play, bringing Penny to a dead stop.
The Senior Bowl is all about putting together great film for NFL scouts and coaches to consider ahead of the NFL Draft. Williams now has a signature hit to put on his highlight reel for the coming months.
