Derrick Brown and Marlon Davidson are two of the top players on Auburn’s defense. And the duo is certainly getting noticed.

On Friday, SEC Network analyst Marcus Spears praised Brown and Davidson, as well as predicting long, successful careers for the two Tigers defenders.

“They’ll be good pros, they’ll play on the next level for a long time,” Spears told the media, including Jeff Shearer of AuburnTigers.com. “With this conference, we grow accustomed to a lot of defensive linemen going to the NFL. … Both of those guys are very talented players who play a big role in this Kevin Steele defense and if anything is going to get turned around, those two are going to have to be a big part of it.”

Davidson has 27 tackles and 1.5 sacks this season, while Brown has 24 tackles and two sacks.

After a loss to Mississippi State last weekend, Auburn is looking to get back on track when it hosts Tennessee on Saturday at 12 p.m. ET.
