The Auburn Tigers came from behind to win a thrilling game in Arlington over No. 11 Oregon on Saturday night.

True freshman QB Bo Nix made his first career start, and despite struggling early, managed to pull it together in the second half to lead his team to victory.

After the game, he spoke to the media to discuss the win, during which he threw for 177 yards, 2 touchdowns and 2 interceptions.

Nix had plenty of praise for his teammates after the win, giving credit to Auburn’s strong defensive efforts (via 247Sports):

“I would have never thought the game would end like that, especially the first one, but we wouldn’t have been in that situation if the defense hadn’t played out of their minds in the second half,” Nix said.

As for his game-winning pass to Seth Williams, Nix said he isn’t interested in comparing the play to any others from Auburn’s past (via AL.com):

“Everybody keeps comparing different passes to it, but I think that was my first Bo-to-Seth moment,” Nix said. “That was the first moment we were able to come through and do something for our team that we had struggled to do all day…. It was a huge moment.”

Will there be more Bo-to-Seth moments? We’ll see as Auburn continues its 2019 season.
