Auburn DL Derrick Brown made a surprising decision to return to the Tigers for his senior season, even though he potentially could have been a first-round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.

Apparently, he may have just wanted to play with his brother for a year.

As you can see in the tweet below, 2019 ILB Kameron Brown — Derrick’s little brother — announced he’d be committing to Auburn:

Per the 247Sports rankings, Brown is a 3-star prospect — the No. 108 inside linebacker in the class of 2019 and the No. 196 overall recruit from the state of Georgia.

Brown becomes the 18th player in Auburn’s 2019 class. Prior to Brown’s commitment, the class was ranked No. 12 nationally and No. 6 in the SEC, per 247Sports.
