Weddell joined R.C. Slocum’s staff in 1998. Weddell came on board to assist defensive coordinator Mike Hankwitz as middle linebackers coach. The Aggies went to four bowl games during in the five years Weddell was on staff. He spent 25 years coaching high school football in Texas before joining Slocum’s staff.
Worked in online, print, TV and radio. Bobby Valentine once wore a pair of my socks for 8 hours. In an awkward exchange, he handed them back to me to which they were immediately deposited in a trash can.
