Bobby Allen

Bobby Allen started his coaching career with Virginia Tech in 1981, overseeing the school’s quarterbacks.

After graduate assistant roles at Colorado and Minnesota, he came to Arkansas in 1998 as Houston Nutt’s co-defensive coordinator. He held various coaching positions for the Razorbacks from 1998-2012 and was the longest-tenured assistant coach in the SEC at that time.

Arkansas coach Brett Bielema moved Allen to a non-coaching position in 2013, just as his sons Brandon and Austin Allen joined the team.
