Fisher was Vanderbilt’s wide receivers coach for a majority of his time with the Commodores while also working as running backs coach and co-passing game coordinator. Fisher mentored Earl Bennett, regarded as the greatest receiver in Vanderbilt history. As a freshman Bennett, set the SEC single-season record for receptions with 79. His 236 career catches was almost an SEC all-time mark at the time. Before coming to Nashville, Fisher served two years as offensive coordinator/quarterback coach at Temple. Prior to the Temple, Fisher was at North Carolina State as the Wolfpack’s receivers coach which included Torry Holt
