Chris Vaughn spent more than a decade coaching defense for Arkansas and Ole Miss.
He spent 1999 as a graduate assistant for the Razorbacks before coaching outside linebackers and safeties for the Hogs. He also coached safeties for Ole Miss from 2008-11 before working as an assistant at Memphis.
An itinerant journalist, Christopher has moved between states 11 times in seven years. Formally an injury-prone Division I 800-meter specialist, he now wanders the Rockies in search of high peaks.
