Heater spent six seasons on staff at Florida. He guided a Florida defense that ranked first in the SEC, for the first time since 1988, and second in the nation in pass defense in 2009. He coached the 2007 and 2009 Gator teams to national championships under Urban Meyer.
After living in Birmingham, Ala., Jordan left the ground zero of SEC Nation to head south to Florida to tell the unique stories of the renowned tradition of SEC football. In his free time, his mission is to find the best locales around.
