Babers primarily worked with quarterbacks Mark Farris and Dustin Long. There Aggies went 14-10 with Babers as the quarterbacks coach. Babers made multiple stops before coming to College Station. They included Arizona, San Diego State, Purdue, Northern Arizona, Nevada, Eastern Illinois, Arizona State, and Hawaii. The last stop before Texas A&M, Arizona, was his longest: six years. For three seasons in Tucson, Babers was the Wildcats offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach.
Worked in online, print, TV and radio. Bobby Valentine once wore a pair of my socks for 8 hours. In an awkward exchange, he handed them back to me to which they were immediately deposited in a trash can.
