Folino spent his first year, 1998, at Vanderbilt as the Commodores defensive backs coach. He was promoted to defensive coordinator after the 1998 season. Prior to his four years at Vanderbilt, Folino worked one season as a defensive coordinator at Alma College (1997) and two years as the defensive backs coach at Albion College (1995-96). Folino previously spent seven years as the secondary coach at Michigan State (1988-94).
Worked in online, print, TV and radio. Bobby Valentine once wore a pair of my socks for 8 hours. In an awkward exchange, he handed them back to me to which they were immediately deposited in a trash can.
