E. T. Pickering coached football and baseball at the University of Arkansas from 1914-1916. He coached the football team for two seasons during that span, finishing 7-2 in 1913 and 3-6 in 1914. He passed away in 1961 at the age of 73.
A former newspaper reporter who has roamed the southeastern United States for years covering football and eating way too many barbecue ribs, if there is such a thing.
