A long-time high school coach, Earl Lane broke into the college ranks as the defensive line coach for South Florida in 1996. He coached the same position at LSU from 2006-09 before migrating to Bethune-Cookman.
An itinerant journalist, Christopher has moved between states 11 times in seven years. Formally an injury-prone Division I 800-meter specialist, he now wanders the Rockies in search of high peaks.
