Frank Kyle coached the Ole Miss football team in 1908, leading the Rebels to a 3-5 finish in his only season as the head coach. He played quarterback at Vanderbilt from 1902-1905 and was named captain of the Commodores’ 1903 squad.
A former newspaper reporter who has roamed the southeastern United States for years covering football and eating way too many barbecue ribs, if there is such a thing.
