Frank Longman coached football at the University of Arkansas from 1906-1907. His teams finished a combined 5-8-3 in those two seasons, and he later went on to coach the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. He passed away in 1928 at the age of 45.
A former newspaper reporter who has roamed the southeastern United States for years covering football and eating way too many barbecue ribs, if there is such a thing.
