George Bohler was a college football and basketball coach who spent time coaching both sports at Auburn University and Ole Miss. He served as head football and basketball coach at Auburn from 1928-1929. The football team was just 1-8 in Bohler’s first season including an 0-7 record in the Southern Conference. The team started the 1929 season with a 2-3 record, 0-3 in the conference, and Bohler was dismissed from his position. He served as an assistant coach for the Ole Miss football team in 1937. Bohler died in 1968 at the age of 81.
