Jerome “Jappy” Oliver spent the 2003-2004 seasons at South Carolina as defensive line coach. He helped to turn around a Gamecock defensive front that finished in the top-20 nationally in total defense. Oliver previously spent eight seasons on staff at the Air Force Academy.
After living in Birmingham, Ala., Jordan left the ground zero of SEC Nation to head south to Florida to tell the unique stories of the renowned tradition of SEC football. In his free time, his mission is to find the best locales around.
