Michael returned to Knoxville in 2008 for one season as the Vols tight ends coach. He first came to UT in 2003, working as an graduate assistant for both the strength and conditioning and video staffs. In 2004 Michael helped with the defense and special teams staffs. From 2005 to 2007 Michael worked with the Oakland Raiders and New York Jets.
Worked in online, print, TV and radio. Bobby Valentine once wore a pair of my socks for 8 hours. In an awkward exchange, he handed them back to me to which they were immediately deposited in a trash can.
