Collins spent 11 years on Steve Spurrier’s staff at Florida. He coached the linebackers, defensive ends, tight ends and coordinated the special teams unit, in addition to being recruiting coordinator. Collins helped lead the Gators to six SEC titles, a national championship, nine 10-win seasons and 10 seasons with a final ranking in the AP top-10. Previous coaching stops include Appalachian State, Jacksonville State and Duke.
After living in Birmingham, Ala., Jordan left the ground zero of SEC Nation to head south to Florida to tell the unique stories of the renowned tradition of SEC football. In his free time, his mission is to find the best locales around.
