Joe Kines
Joe Kines is a longtime coordinator and assistant coach in the SEC who has served as the interim head coach for two different SEC programs during his career. Kines replaced Mike Shula at Alabama following his termination at the end of the 2006 regular season, and coached the Tide to a loss in the Independence Bowl. He also coached the final 10 games of Arkansas’ 1992 season after former head coach Jack Crowe lost the season opener to The Citadel. Kines has served as defensive coordinator at Texas A&M, Alabama, Georgia, Arkansas and Florida.
