Keith Burns began his coaching career as a defensive backs coach at Arkansas before returning as the Razorbacks’ defensive coordinator in 1998-99.
Burns also coached the secondary at Ole Miss in 2011 in his only other SEC gig.
Other entries on Burns’ coaching resume include the Washington Redskins, Oakland Raiders, Kansas State Wildcats, San Jose State Spartans, Tulsa Golden Hurricane, USC Trojans, Rice Owls and Pacific Tigers.
An itinerant journalist, Christopher has moved between states 11 times in seven years. Formally an injury-prone Division I 800-meter specialist, he now wanders the Rockies in search of high peaks.
