After coaching outside of the United States for a good portion of the 2000s, Kent Austin became offensive coordinator at Ole Miss from 2008-10.

Austin, a former Ole Miss quarterback who played in the Canadian Football League for several years, also coached for the Ottawa Renegades, Toronto Argonauts and Saskatchewan Roughriders.

He became head coach at Cornell following his time with the Rebels and since became head coach and general manager of the CFL’s Hamilton Tiger-Cats.
