Larry Brinson
Brinson spent 10 years coaching in the SEC, on the staff of Ron Hatfield at Arkansas from 1984-1989 and then under Rich Brooks and Joker Phillips at Kentucky from 2007-2010.
Brinson, who played running back at Florida, played five seasons in the NFL with the Dallas Cowboys and Seattle Seahawks. He coached a dominant rushing attack no matter where he went. At Kentucky, Brinson helped the Wildcats to rush for over 2,000 yards in both 2007 and 2009, the most for any UK team since the early 1990s. His Clemson teams finished in the top-20 nationally in rushing in each of his six seasons, and during his stint at Rice, the Owls finished in the top three in rushing nationally five times.
