Koenning is one of the most experienced offensive minds in the country, when 25 years experience with the spread offense. Koenning has developed the Bulldog offense into one of the best in school history, averaging nearly 30 points per game in 2012. He came to Starkville from South Alabama, where he served as offensive coordinator for the newly developed Jaguar program. Prior to his time at South Alabama, he spent five years at Texas A&M, preceded by stops at Duke, Houston, TCU and Alabama.
After living in Birmingham, Ala., Jordan left the ground zero of SEC Nation to head south to Florida to tell the unique stories of the renowned tradition of SEC football. In his free time, his mission is to find the best locales around.
