A. M. Miller was the first coach in the history of the University of Kentucky football program, leading the Wildcats through their inaugural season in 1892. Miller led the Cats to a 2-4-1 record in his only season as the head coach. He passed away in 1929 at the age of 68.
A former newspaper reporter who has roamed the southeastern United States for years covering football and eating way too many barbecue ribs, if there is such a thing.
