M. S. Harvey

M. S. Harvey was a college football coach for four years at three different schools in the early 1900’s. After playing tackle for the Auburn Tigers in 1900, Harvey took the head coaching job at in-state rival Alabama in 1901, posting a 2-1-2 record in his only season as coach of the Tide. He returned to Auburn as head coach of the football team in 1902 but went 0-2 that season. He moved on to coach the Ole Miss Rebels for two seasons in 1903 and 1904 and went 6-4-1 in that time. He passed away in 1958 at the age of 77.
