Michael Haywood coached running backs and special teams at LSU from 1995-2002.
He held the same position at Texas for two seasons before serving as Notre Dame’s offensive coordinator from 2005-08.
Haywood became the Miami (Ohio) head coach in 2009, and after winning nine games in 2010, he accepted the head coaching job at Pitt. But he got fired before he coached a game due to domestic violence charges and as of 2014 still had not gotten another job in football.
Haywood’s other coaching stops include Ball State, Ohio and Army.
