Mike Price was hired to be the head coach at the University of Alabama prior to the 2003 season, but was fired before ever coaching a game for the Crimson Tide due to an off-field issue involving photos that surfaced of Price in a strip club. He worked as the head coach at Weber State and Washington State prior to being hired by Alabama, and went on to coach for nine seasons at the University of Texas at El Paso from 2004-2012.
