Nathan Stauffer was a college football coach for nine seasons in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s, including three seasons as the head coach at Ole Miss from 1909-1911. He posted a winning record in all three of his seasons as coach of the Rebels, and had his best year in 1910 when he led Ole Miss to a 7-1 record. He was 4-3-1 in 1901 and 6-3 in 1911, bringing his overall record with the Rebels to 17-7-1. He retired from coaching following the 1911 season and passed away in 1959 at the age of 84.
