Neil Callaway has made three SEC stops, including as offensive line coach at Auburn (1981-92), offensive coordinator at Alabama (1997-2000) and offensive cordinator at Georgia (2001-06).
Callaway also became UAB’s head coach in 2007 and spent five seasons with the Blazers.
Callaway played for Bear Bryant at Alabama and began his career working for Pat Dye, following him to Auburn in 1981. He went 18-42 as coach at UAB, including a relatively rare five-win season in 2009.
An itinerant journalist, Christopher has moved between states 11 times in seven years. Formally an injury-prone Division I 800-meter specialist, he now wanders the Rockies in search of high peaks.
