Paul Rhoads took over for Robb Smith at the helm of Arkansas’ defense following the 2016 season. Rhoads, who was the Razorbacks’ defensive backs coach in 2016, is best known as the head coach of Iowa State from 2009-2015. He returns to the SEC after once serving as the defensive coordinator for the Auburn Tigers in 2008.
