Ralph S. Kent spent one season as the football coach at Auburn University, posting a 2-2-1 record in his lone season in 1902. He played college football at Cornell in 1901. Kent passed away in 1949 at the age of 70.
A former newspaper reporter who has roamed the southeastern United States for years covering football and eating way too many barbecue ribs, if there is such a thing.
