Following a short NFL career as a tight end, Richard Owens joined Arkansas’ staff in 2010 as a graduate student working with the team’s tight ends under Bobby Petrino, remaining in the position for two years before leaving with Petrino’s offensive coordinator, Garrick McGee, who became head coach at UAB.
An itinerant journalist, Christopher has moved between states 11 times in seven years. Formally an injury-prone Division I 800-meter specialist, he now wanders the Rockies in search of high peaks.
