Ron Dickerson Jr. coached the Ole Miss receivers from 2008-10 before spending two seasons as the head coach at Gardner-Webb.

Dickerson Jr. was the first African-American head coach in the history of the Big South Conference in the FCS. He also coached at Louisiana-Monroe, Missouri State, Alabama State and Temple in additoin to one season with the Las Vegas Outlaws of the XFL.

An itinerant journalist, Christopher has moved between states 11 times in seven years. Formally an injury-prone Division I 800-meter specialist, he now wanders the Rockies in search of high peaks.
