S. D. Crawford

S. D. “Sax” Crawford coached the University of Tennessee football team for one season in 1904, leading the Volunteers to a 3-5-1 record and a 1-4 mark in the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Association. He also played his college football at Tennessee from 1901-1902. Crawford passed away in 1964 at the age of 82.
