Ted Roof served as Auburn’s defensive coordinator from 2009-11 in his lone SEC stint since he was an Alabama graduate assistant in 1987-88.
Roof was part of the 2011 BCS Championship team at Auburn.
He also served as the head coach at Duke in addition to defensive coordinator positions for UMass, Western Carolina, Georgia Tech, Duke, Minnesota and Penn State.
An itinerant journalist, Christopher has moved between states 11 times in seven years. Formally an injury-prone Division I 800-meter specialist, he now wanders the Rockies in search of high peaks.
