Thomas S. Hammond

Thomas S. Hammond was a football star for the University of Michigan in the early 1900’s who took over as head coach of the Ole Miss football team following his playing career in 1906. He led the Rebels to a 4-2 record in his only season as coach, including wins over LSU and Mississippi State. Hammond passed away in 1950 at the age of 66.
