Walter E. Bachman coached the Texas A&M football team for two seasons from 1905-1906, posting a 13-3 record in that time. His teams were 7-2 in 1905 and 6-1 in 1906. Bachman passed away in 1958 at the age of 79.
A former newspaper reporter who has roamed the southeastern United States for years covering football and eating way too many barbecue ribs, if there is such a thing.
