William L. Driver was a college football coach for nearly two decades in the early-1900’s, including two seasons as head coach at Ole Miss. From 1913-1914 Driver was a combined 11-7-2 with the Rebels, and posted a career record of 58-45-7 when he retired in 1929. Driver also coached basketball at Texas A&M from 1917-1920. He passed away in 1941 at the age of 58.
