Willis Kienholz was a college football coach for five seasons at five different schools in the early 1900’s, including one season as head coach of the Auburn Tigers in 1907. The Tigers finished 6-2-1 that season and for his career Kienholz was 22-9-5 as a head coach. He passed away in 1958 at the age of 82.
A former newspaper reporter who has roamed the southeastern United States for years covering football and eating way too many barbecue ribs, if there is such a thing.
