There’s only one way to celebrate a victory in the Tony the Tiger Sun Bowl — a Frosted Flakes bath, of course.

After Arizona State notched a 20-14 win over Florida State on Tuesday, several Sun Devils players dumped a cooler filled with Frosted Flakes over head coach Herm Edwards. It was an exciting — and tasty — way for Arizona State to end its season:

Edwards was likely fine with the celebration as he notched his first bowl victory since taking over as Arizona State’s head coach prior to the 2018 season. Last year, the Sun Devils lost to Fresno State in the Las Vegas Bowl.

It was an up-and-down 2019 season for the Sun Devils, who finished 8-5 after winning three straight games to end the year. That streak started with a huge upset home win over Oregon on Nov. 23.

However, Arizona State had a four-game losing streak after its 5-1 start, which prevented it from playing in a higher-profile bowl. Still, it was a solid season for the Sun Devils in the second season of the Edwards era.
