Celebrity guest picker revealed for ESPN's College GameDay at Notre Dame
The celebrity guest picker for this weekend’s College GameDay show live on Notre Dame’s campus was revealed on Thursday night.
Notre Dame fan and actor Vince Vaughn will join the set of ESPN’s traveling pregame show in South Bend, ESPN announced. Vaughn will be making his third appearance on the show. In 2012, he picked Notre Dame to beat Stanford and the Irish walked away with a 20-13 win. Then during a remote broadcast in 2020, he picked Notre Dame to beat Pitt. The Irish left with a 45-3 victory.
Notre Dame hosts No. 6 Ohio State on Saturday.

According to ESPN, Notre Dame head coach Marcus Freeman will join the GameDay crew live during Saturday’s show along with NFL Hall of Famer and former Notre Dame Heisman winner Tim Brown.
Lee Corso has picked Notre Dame 12 times throughout his 400 headgear picks, going 8-4 in those games. The last time he picked the Fighting Irish in South Bend in front of a crowd was in 2018 when Notre Dame beat Michigan.
Corso has picked Ohio State more than any other team, though. He is 26-13 when picking Ohio State, and the Buckeyes have won five of the last six regular-season games in which Corso has picked them.
The 3-hour pregame show will be live from Library Lawn on Notre Dame’s campus beginning at 9 a.m. ET.
Kickoff between No. 9 Notre Dame (4-0) and No. 6 Ohio State (3-0) is set for 7:30 p.m. ET on NBC.
