Deion Sanders could reportedly be making the jump to the Power 5. Sanders is now being linked to the TCU job in a new report. Chris Hummer of 247Sports writes that TCU is “working to arrange an interview” with the Jackson State head coach.

TCU joined the list of Power 5 programs looking for a new head coach as the program announced it was parting ways with long-time head coach Gary Patterson on Sunday.

Sanders, a Florida State great who played for the Dallas Cowboys, San Francisco 49ers, and Atlanta Falcons in the NFL, has led the Tigers to a 7-1 record so far this season in the SWAC and it looks like they may be on the way to the SWAC title game later this year.

The 247Sports report states that TCU is also looking to interview long-time Clemson assistant and offensive coordinator Tony Elliot and Nevada head coach Jay Norvell.
