Final thoughts (and a prediction) for Florida-Mizzou
Hopper missed most of last week due to his injury, and his replacement did well.
State finalist back in that at a small school, and six of us played both ways (yours truly included). This was common at our school...get the athletes on the field! Interested tidbit, my alma mater continues to play in the same conference as Cody Schrader's HS...

I like Sagarin because it's easy to navigate (and has predictions). But I did check the Sagarin SOS the last three years for the same teams. Mizzou's SOS averages 12, Alabama 19, Auburn 5, and Georgia 14. Again, I wouldn't change a thing with Mizzou's scheduling, other than adding Kansas. Would love to crush them to start the season!
Btw, when I read the headline, I thought Steckel was returning as Mizzou's head coach...
People have been critical of Mizzou's SOS. I like mratings for all things football. Even with the relatively weak non-con, Mizzou's SOS the last three years averages 6th (for comparison purposes, Alabama and Georgia average 7th, and Auburn 9th). I wouldn't change a thing. That's a pretty tough schedule...
