Geez Adam, kind of disappointing that you didn't do your due diligence for the article. Multiple suspensions including one for an arrest. The latter is an out for the rest of the season. Adam, sadly it seems you are more into piling on instead of journalist integrity. Did you get a business degree at Missouri? Gig'em
@AgsFF re: "We will send y’all Durkin and his 3 man rush" Amen brother. I long for defense that plugs holes and destroys an offense by stopping the run, sacking the QB, and intercepting! Durkin was supposed to be some kind of hot DC that just happened to be available and could innovate with players we had and play to their strengths right? But then it still requires and offense that can move the ball and score points! Aggies also need a top notch strength and conditioning coach. Who ever we have needs to leave and we need someone who can get the job done. 5-7 no bowl ain't cutting it. As I said, JtB finally pulled his head out, will he keep it out? Or, will shove it back in where the sun don't shine?
@EKingGil Thank you for the thoughtful comments. Right again, we got lucky and won our last game of the year, 3-20 over one win UMAS. No bowling for Aggies this year right? What will that make our record this year after Losing to LSU? (Has anyone send a donation to the Pope?) 4-8 right? Oh my bad, if they played like this next year Aggies would be 8-16 versus the Hogs 4-18. Yes, you are correct sir, Aggies would have four more wins and two less losses. my bad. And were only paying JtB about $100,000,000. Chad Morris' $3,500,000 per year for six years, or slightly less than $7,000,000 total for two years (he didn't finish season two). However what Aggies really need is this: There just happens to be a former Aggie OC by the name of Kliff Kingsbury that will likely be available. We all know about coach Jimbo the Bimbo (JtB) coaching issues; having no innovation, lame play calling and a dull lifeless offense. If Kingsbury's the new OC it should help keep players from the portal. It's a WIN-WIN for both parties; If Aggies could bring in the Alabama running back Trey Sanders, who's entered the transfer portal, he might be worth a try and would piss Saban off too. That's a WIN-WIN-WIN: If the Aggies force JtB to not call plays and enable a Kingsbury run offense, that would be icing on the cake. Plus Kingsbury is a great quarterback recruiter and developer. That's a WIN-WIN-WIN-WIN! Who doesn't want to see Aggies scoring 50, 60, 70+ points a game again? That's a WIN-WIN-WIN-WIN-WIN !
The stupidity of some people. I wonder how the cops stopped him? How did the cops come to search the vehicle? If cops asks to search you have the right to say, "no thank you, I'm a ACLU member." Then leave it at that. From The Eagle reported the following: "At approximately 11 p.m. Saturday, College Station police witnessed a car making a double lane change across George Bush Drive West that almost resulted in a collision, according to the probable cause statement. After the car made a left turn without using a signal, the officer proceeded with the traffic stop. ----------Image if Jimbo Fisher Omitted---------- "Texas A&M defensive back Denver Harris was driving the vehicle, according to the report." And officers found the following: -'52 PJ Williams Jr' with three gallon ziploc type bags with 7.7 pounds of marijuana in it. This hasn't even gone to trial, he is innocent until proven guilty.
I think the Aggies will survive the transfer portal. One that will help is to get an innovative OC. @ Glenn, FYI: LSU v Aggies is on Sat 26 NOV 2022. Aggies this week are hosting UMass. This will be challenging for the Aggies as UMASS (1-8) is going up against the Aggies (3-7). I sure as scheisse hope the Ags pull their heads out of that dark place where it has been hiding. Somehow the Aggies seem to be sinking lower than their opponents. Imagine the hysteria if Aggies record goes to 3-8. Imagine the Hoopla if Aggies record goes to 4-7? What Hoopla you ask?
I'm trying to think if Aggies ever won a game with Sumlin's alternate uniform scheme.
Lot's of interesting comments here guys, thanks for your input. Oh and just for the record, I don't know if I said that (before that last loss) that Aggies would be lucky to win three of the last three games. This started with Aggies being lucky to win three of the last five games. If you've perused my recent posts, they've been critical of Jimbo the Bimbo, (JtB). Now, I have to change that to Aggies will be lucky to win one of the last two games. Aggie situation reminds me of Arkansas before they fired their last coach. The Hogs just couldn't seem to get over the hump to win the game. This is the same situation the Aggies find themselves in. Sadly, Aggies are performing lower and lower or is that less and less as opponents are weaker and weaker. WTF Over????? While most of the posts here are just B.S.whining or complaining the way laymen p!$$ and Moan. Let's take a process view if the issues. That means we have to work it out, one thing at a time. That also means the coaching and support staff have to take long hard looks and identify their strength and weaknesses and what feeds into the process. Strength and conditioning. O-Line QBs RB & HB TEs WRs D-Line LBs DBs & Safeties Then we have the big nasties: Play calling OC Innovation finally, everything else category. There needs to be places where JtB just needs to manage the processes and let the people that he hires do their jobs. The last thing the team needs is micro managing by the HC, or outsiders. For you non-financial types aTm could pay JtB his lump sum, they just finance (take a note [car loan, home mortgage etc.]) it for $ 7 million a year until it's paid. Recall this is aTms worst year since 1972! JtB - the writing is on the wall and you look too effing squeemish these last few post game pressers. Hey-zues effing chips, slow down you're talking and please Jimbo, be a Man about it; (i.e., take it like a man). Also the recruits are watching--You just lost the #1 LB recruit in the country. Good thing we don't need LBs or heavy duty RBs right? Post Script - I lived though the George Woodard years also...he didn't want to practice, so Jack Pardee (current or former Chicago Bears head coach) called Woodard and had to talk him into practicing. This happened many times. IN summary, Aggies keep JtB and stipulate! If he doesn't like it he can leave. Be a man about it!
Mastery? Mastery? You have to be kidding me. Sadly, the offense just sputters along. Yes Achane is great, but he is not the RB/HB that aTm needs. Aggies need to find a heavy duty bit runner. We all know about Aggies O-line woahs. Finally, the powers that be need to relieve coach Jimbo from his play calling duties. Aggies need also to teach the QB how to take snaps from under the center as well as shot gun. They also need train in QB sneaks, snap ball on sound, and other up tempo schemes. Too often they let the defense get ready for the play, instead of acting fast before the defense knows what hit then. For me I think the Aggies need at least two more years for top college recruiting and O-Line playing experience before they will be contenders--which is realistic and perhaps optimistic.
@Tony Tsoukalas, Will Anderson tallied a whopping eight quarterback hurries against Texas A&M. Here's a breakdown of each one Hey Tony, who taught you how to count? Both here and on your twitter feed, there is only ONE QB hurrie (sp) not either hurries. Really, you can do better than that.
Sadly, this is a tough deal for Aggies. Thank you Paul Finebaum, friend of Bama, telling Jimbo, no more excuses. PF is correct. What does ATM need to win? 1. An OL that can perform. 2. TEs and WRs that can catch the ball. 3. Unique play calling that works (not the ho hum usual stuff). 4. Are you kidding me, defense of 3 whatever ain't going to cut it. 5. Defense need to score, a lot. 6. A DL that needs to plug the line and make sacs. 7. Holy intervention, has the pope blessed the Aggies yet? Other than that, I'd won't be surprised if this is ATM worst lost to a number one team in it's history. Saban is out for blood, and wants revenge from last years loss to ATM. They will decimate ATM, and I'm and Aggie. Even as a viewer, I'll need to take my pain meds; personally they might not help me, better put on my knee brace, have saline IV in hand and get my O2 bottle flowing. JK of course, but you know.

This was my biggest concern going into the season. Is the o-line able to play with good consistency. It doesn't look too good for the o-line, OMG. They look like a bunch of frosh out there.
Practice vs. game day performance. Let's see what Max can do with 8 mins left in the game.
14-14 tie at 8:09 to play. A&M Looks like scheisse. 17-14 App St v.A&M. I knew going in we'd have O-Line issues. Stick Max in there and let's see what he can do.
Why all the FSU lookback? It is over guys, finished, fini, fertig, say Hasta La Vista to it. Looking forward: Aggies are getting there. Going to take longer than expected. What are the priorities? 1. Receivers a. defense b. defense c. defense ENDING WITH - Special Teams - Special Teams - Special Teams Any Questions?
