Arkansas has the 23rd most wins of any college football program in history, they went to a BCS bowl game in 2011, and were ranked as recently as 2016. They have been to 4 SEC championship games and currently have all-time winning records against Mississippi State, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Texas A&M, and Vanderbilt. Their baseball team has been to the college World Series the past two years and made it to the CWS final in 2018. O'Gara argues that Arkansas's success in baseball is less valuable to the conference because of their depth in baseball, but chose not to put Vanderbilt on this list solely because of their baseball team. Arkansas basketball ranked 11th in the nation last year in attendance averaging 15,278 fans/game. Arkansas ranks 20th in all-time NCAA sports national titles. The only SEC school with more national titles is LSU. This article makes it clearer than ever that O'Gara did not grow up around the SEC and still does not understand the greatest conference in sports. The position that Arkansas is the school most deserving of relegation from the SEC is indefensible.
