I would be worried about Ensminger at LSU, I know he probably did a good job with the TEs at LSU...Saw with my own eyes the terrible job he did as Auburn's OC for the one season before he was canned, and did an even worse job the next year as the passing game coordinator at Smiths Station High School...I'm only assuming he has improved since he ended up back in the SEC, it will definitely be interesting to see how it plays out.
I think we all secretly have a selfish moment where we may like it when a good player/highly touted recruit/good assistant coach is removed from our favorite team...especially when its labeled as "undisclosed team rules"...but when you read stories like this Meyer OSU fiasco, kind of makes you understand why coaches make those tough decisions.
Voysa Reason I don't think ANYONE here is jealous of Urban Meyer trust me. Several of your facts are unfortunately just your opinion, but since your up in arms defending Urban Meyer and OSU think about this for a minute...your defending the type of person who can obviously turn a blind eye to the actions of a person like Aaron Hernandez (was never kicked off the team while at UF) why would he not overlook the actions of this dumpster fire of an assistant coach who he was supposedly "mentoring."
LOL! These comments are awesome! WTH are they doing up there at OSU??
Agreed...it is comical that OSU can put a time limit on an investigation, and expect everyone to take their findings legitimate, what a joke.
We are talking about the same person who turned a blind eye to the crap Aaron Hernandez did at UF, of course he is not going to report an assistant coach...and unfortunately OSU is more interested in winning at any and all costs.
tonytiger since this article is about the whole offense and not specifically quarterback maybe that is why Auburn is ranked ahead of Mizzou...or maybe they just looked at that 51 points Auburn put up on Mizzou last year to come to their decision.
In reference to the article, I think Auburn's D is more experienced, while Bama's D is definitely more talented, and probably a little deeper at most positions outside of the D line.
The state of Georgia continues to produce a ton of talent, especially when it comes to D lineman. Hopefully D-Line coach Rodney Garner can continue snagging some of them. Gus needs to make sure he keeps Coach Garner on the staff, doing a really good job.
Heard Pettway has some serious character issues, not so sure putting him in a position to have influence in a teen age kid's life is the best idea.
